Pokemon Yellow Cross

Pokemon Yellow-inspired hack of Pokemon Emerald brings a fresh take on the classic story with added features and improvements. You’ll start your journey with Pikachu as your starter Pokemon and face off against the notorious Team Rocket.

The game features a physical and special split, day-night cycle, following Pokemon, and a PSS system. You’ll have access to items, moves, and skills up to Generation 4, but there won’t be any hidden abilities, Z-moves, or Megas. Instead, you can look forward to new evolutions and pre-evolutions for existing Pokemon.

While there won’t be any fairy types, the game will include updated battle mechanics up to Generation IV, giving you plenty of new moves and abilities to try out. You can breed Pokemon before the Elite Four and take advantage of updated crafting mechanics.

The game will be set in the Sevii Islands, so you won’t be able to travel to other regions. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to trade with vanilla or Emerald cross games, and there won’t be any difficulty options or random settings. However, the developer is considering adding a nuzlocke mode in the future.
