What's new
- Pokemon have unique palette variations based on their personality value, similar to Stadium games.
- Team Aqua and Team Magma switch places during the Mt. Chimney section to avoid facing two Fire specialists in a row.
- Surf encounters have been removed, allowing for peaceful crossing of the water.
- Regi doors are now open at the beginning of the game, making them accessible earlier.
- Several new areas have been added, and old ones extended for the Kanto and Johto legendaries, as well as for convenience.
- Refreshment-based healing items are easier to obtain in bulk but can't be used during battles.
- The TM list has been expanded to 92 TMs and 7 HMs, with Dive's field function delegated to an item.
- A new tutor in Fallarbor can teach Egg Moves, provided another Pokemon knows the move.
- A new NPC in Lavaridge can train Pokemon to work past their natures.
- Contests are incomplete, with vanilla opponents and a partially overhauled Berry Blender.
- Post-game content is under construction, with Kyogre, Deoxys, and one of Latias or Latios currently unobtainable.
- The world map still needs to be updated, which will happen after new lairs for the legendaries are added.
- Attacks don't re-target automatically in Doubles, with a focus on Singles battles.
