Ever wondered what Pokemon might look like as a Roguelike?
In this game, you will embark on a unique adventure through procedurally generated routes, encounters, and items. No two playthroughs will be the same, providing endless hours of exciting gameplay.
As you progress through your run, you’ll face random gym leaders with procedurally selected teams of their assigned type. But be warned, the further you go, the more difficult the trainers become. Only the strongest and most skilled trainers will be able to make it to the champion and defeat them.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or underprepared, don’t worry! After each run, you’ll return to a hub area where you can purchase permanent items and catch new “starter” Pokemon to use in your next adventure. As you progress, more buildings and NPCs will become available in the hub area to help you better prepare for your next run.
A complete run can take anywhere from 3-4 hours of in-game time, depending on how thorough you are. And with a quick save option available, you can put the game down mid-run and return later without worry, but be warned, there’s no save scumming allowed.
