LOG START: REGION VOCES CELESTIALES
Time: 0600 Hours
Location: Unmapped Territory (Base: FireRed)
Pokedex Status: 0/??? (Panic inducing)
I touched down in the Voces Celestiales region with my standard loadout: 500 PokeBalls, three backup save files, and a hydration pack. The intel was sparse. "New graphics," they said. "Interesting storyline," they claimed. But I don't care about the story unless it leads me to a Mythical. I'm here for the data. I'm here to fill the slots. My eye started twitching immediately when I realized the regional borders are still under construction (Status: Beta 1.1). You can't catch them all if the world ends at the fourth Gym.
VISUAL & AUDITORY STIMULI
The visual landscape of this region is vibrant, unlike anything in the standard Kanto sector. The architect (InmortalKaktus) has overhauled the tilesets; the trees look lush, the paths are distinct. It doesn't look like 2004 anymore. The auditory signals are strong—the "Celestial Voices" aren't just a name. The soundtrack has been remixed. It keeps the adrenaline high during encounters, which is critical when you're reset-hunting a Starter for the perfect Nature.
THE CATCHABILITY INDEX
Here is the critical data for fellow hunters. The local dialect is Spanish, so ensure your translator is active. I scouted the local marts immediately.
- Trade Evolutions: I confirmed that the Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W. No need to dual-box emulators to get a Gengar. This is the bare minimum for a civilized society.
- Encounter Rates: The tall grass density is standard, but the variety seems expanded. However, without a full documentation log, I'm flying blind.
NOTE: I encountered scripting anomalies near the event zones. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. I almost lost a unique encounter sequence because I wasn't prepared for the trigger.
QUALITY OF LIFE (OR LACK THEREOF)
I searched the menus frantically. I looked for the holy grail. I failed. I could not confirm if the Best QoL: Infinite Repel system was implemented. I had to manually re-apply Repels like a caveman from the 90s. My pacing suffered. For a completionist, friction is the enemy. The lack of documented item locations in this Beta phase is causing me significant distress. I have a spreadsheet with empty cells, and it's mocking me.
MISSION VERDICT
The region shows promise. The atmosphere is thick, and the visuals are crisp. But for a Level 100 Explorer? It's a tease. The "Beta" designation is a wall I cannot climb. I can't get that 100% stamp. Usually, 100% completion took me 85 hours in a region of this density, but here I ran out of road in less than 15. I'm packing up camp until further construction is completed. I can't sleep knowing the Pokedex is incomplete, but I have no choice.
