LOG ENTRY: REGION ULTRA TIPOS

Location: Unknown Coordinates, Post-Elite Four
Status: Mental Stability Compromised. Pokedex overflow error.

I need a coffee. No, I need a Max Ether for my brain. I just spent the last week cataloging the biodiversity in the Ultra Tipos sector, and let me tell you, the taxonomy here is absolute chaos. We aren't just talking Kanto birds and Johto bugs. We are talking inter-dimensional rifts opening up and dropping Gen 7 Ultra Beasts right next to Fakemon that shouldn't exist in this timeline.

THE POKEDEX: A BEAUTIFUL NIGHTMARE

My neurological need to catch them all was tested here. The local professors claim a Pokedex spanning Generations 1 through 7, plus regional variants and undocumented species (Fakemon). I started sweating the moment I saw the empty slots. The sheer volume is staggering.

Living Dex is possible without cheats. I verified this through extensive field testing, though some evolution methods are obscure. You have Alolan forms wandering the tall grass like they own the place. Seeing a Vulpix freeze the ground in a FireRed engine is a jarring but welcome anomaly.

VISUAL INTERFACE & QOL

The local tech is surprisingly advanced for a region built on this older architecture (FireRed). The Selection Screens and Summary Screens have been overhauled. It’s not just a coat of paint; it makes sorting through hundreds of specimens bearable. However, I did encounter visual glitches—textures popping in and out like a Porygon having a seizure. It adds to the charm, or the horror, depending on your OCD levels.

FIELD NOTE: The Mega Evolution mechanics are functional, but obtaining the stones feels like a scavenger hunt with no map. Keep your Itemfinder glued to your hand.

THE HUNTING GROUNDS

The region itself—a new plot, new maps—feels distinct. It's not Kanto. It's something... else. The threat level is inconsistent. One moment you're sweeping a Gym Leader, the next a random Trainer drops a Mega Lucario on your head. I live for that adrenaline spike.

However, explorers beware: the documentation is sparse. I found myself wandering into caves without knowing if a Legendary trigger was active. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. I almost lost a chance at a specific Ultra Beast because I walked through a door and triggered a cutscene sequence that locked me out. That is a 0/10 design choice, but I salvaged the save file.

FINAL DIAGNOSIS

Is it polished? No. It’s rough, manic, and sometimes barely holds together. But the "catchability" is high simply due to the volume of targets. 100% completion took me 85 hours. That's 85 hours of pure, unadulterated grinding. If you need to fill boxes, this is your fix. If you want a smooth, curated museum tour, go elsewhere.
