MISSION LOG: REGION 802 (ANOMALY DETECTED)
Location: Kanto Sector (Heavily Distorted)
Explorer: DexHunter Ace
Pokedex Status: 72% (Current Panic Level: MODERATE)
I landed in Pallet Town expecting the usual Pidgey grind. Instead, my sensors picked up Alolan distinct biological signatures immediately. This isn't just a texture swap; the local biodiversity has been completely overwritten. My Pokedex is vibrating. I haven't slept in three days.
THE FAUNA: BIOLOGICAL WARFARE
The local Professor offered me a Froakie. Not just any Froakie—one capable of the "Ash-Greninja" phenomenon via trade. Living Dex is possible without cheats. I confirmed the presence of Solgaleo and Lunala, entities that shouldn't mathematically exist in this GBA engine. Seeing a Tapu Koko sprite on a GameBoy Advance screen is jarring, like seeing a Ferrari engine inside a lawnmower. It works, but it feels illegal.
FIELD NOTE: The biodiversity here is chaotic. You have Gen 4, 5, 6, and 7 specimens wandering the tall grass. It’s a collector's paradise, but a chaotic mess for organization. My sorting boxes are in shambles.
THE ANOMALIES (BUGS & FEATURES)
The landscape has shifted. Maps have been altered to accommodate "Alola" zones. Navigating these new sectors felt unstable, like walking through a glitch in the Matrix. The visual fidelity varies—some sprites are crisp, others look like they were compressed by a hydraulic press. But the biggest threat? The Elite Four data has been corrupted. Cynthia is an Elite Four member. I repeat: The Sinnoh Champion is gatekeeping the Hall of Fame. This is not a drill. Prepare your Ice Beams.
THE HUNT: CATCHABILITY INDEX
I spent hours tracking down the Tapus. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. The static encounters for Zygarde and the Island Guardians are high-pressure scenarios. If you knock them out, they might be gone for good. I didn't see a respawn mechanic, and I wasn't willing to risk my 100% run to find out.
MISSION DEBRIEF
This expedition was a fever dream. It lacks the polish of the Unbound region, but the sheer volume of rare creatures triggered my dopamine receptors hard. 100% completion took me 42 hours. It's messy, it's weird, and the difficulty spikes are irrational, but filling those Gen 7 slots on a Gen 3 cartridge scratched the itch.
