MISSION LOG: THE CORNA ANOMALY
Location: Corna Region
Current Pokedex Status: 386/386 (Living Dex Complete)
Mental State: Frayed. The dialect here is infectious.
I have just extracted myself from the Corna region, specifically the Ultra Quartz – Let’s Go! Blobbos simulation. Listen to me carefully: this is not Kanto. This is not Hoenn. This is a fever dream rendered in 240x160 resolution. The local fauna—referred to as "Fakemon" by the locals—are biological impossibilities. But my directive is absolute: Gotta. Catch. Them. ALL. And miraculously, this region respects the grind.
THE CATALOGING PROCESS
I arrived expecting a broken ecosystem, but the biological diversity here has been patched. The original biodiversity data (the "Baro Dex") was a mess, but this v2.0 iteration has stabilized the genome. Living Dex is possible without cheats. Do you understand the relief that brings me? I didn't have to inject code to find the starters. They were there. Waiting.
However, the local dialect is a hazard. The text is a jagged mix of English and Spanish ("Spanglish") that defies linguistic laws. It makes deciphering move descriptions a puzzle in itself, but the thrill of filling slot #386 with a creature that looks like a pixelated nightmare is unmatched.
THREAT LEVEL & QOL
Do not underestimate the hostile entities here. The Trainer AI has been overclocked. Every single trainer has been edited for a higher level curve. I walked into the first Gym expecting a tutorial and got hit with advanced tactics. It forces you to actually optimize these strange creatures.
FIELD NOTE: The visual cortex of this region has been upgraded to resemble the Emerald sector, despite the underlying architecture being Ruby-based. It’s disorienting but pleasing.
THE ENDGAME
I spent hours grinding in the re-enabled Game Corner—gambling addiction is a necessary vice for completionists. But the real meat is the combat simulation facilities. The Battle Tower is online and functional. Post-game is massive. Battle Frontier included. (Well, the Tower specifically, but it functions as the ultimate test for my meticulously bred team of abominations).
One critical advisory for fellow hunters: The event scripting is stable, but this is still based on legacy code. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. There are legendary encounters that feel precarious, and I wasn't about to risk a corrupted save file on a shiny Ranconette.
FINAL ANALYSIS
This expedition was a hallucination, but a productive one. The "catchability" is surprisingly high for such a chaotic region. I have 386 monsters in my PC, arranged by color gradient. My brain hurts, but my Pokedex is full. 100% completion took me 85 hours. Worth every second of confusion.
