MISSION LOG: REGION TIBERIUM
Timestamp: 0800 Hours
Location: Littleroot Town (Approximation)
Current Status: Aborting Mission
I arrived in the Tiberium region with a standard competitive mindset, expecting a refreshing deviation from the standard Hoenn simulation. The intel provided by Headquarters was contradictory at bestโmarked as "Completed" in the registry, yet flagged as "Beta" in the metadata. As a scientist, I despise ambiguity. You cannot calculate a winning line if the variables keep changing.
THE TERRAIN: UNSTABLE GEOMETRY
The visual landscape of this region attempts to deviate from the standard Emerald baseline, but the execution is crude. I encountered significant graphical anomalies within the first hour of the expedition. Navigating the overworld felt less like exploration and more like beta-testing a romhack from 2012. If I wanted to stare at broken tilemaps, I would simply corrupt a cartridge myself.
FIELD NOTE: Do not attempt to access the Pokedex in untested areas. The game engine reacts poorly, resulting in immediate termination of the simulation (Game Crash).
TACTICAL ASSESSMENT: ENGINE LIMITATIONS
My primary grievance lies with the combat engine. I attempted to run a standard damage calculation for a Poochyena encounter, only to realize the mechanics were archaic. The Physical/Special split is mandatory. No excuses. Releasing a hack in 2018 without distinguishing between a physical punch and a special beam is negligencia of the highest order. It renders entire species viability rankings obsolete.
I attempted to engage the local trainers using Standard Hardcore Nuzlocke rules: No items in battle. However, the difficulty curve here is not based on tactical AI or synergy; it is based on lack of polish. I appreciate a challenge where the opponent outplays me. I do not appreciate a challenge where I have to guess if the game will freeze when I use a Potion.
DATA INTEGRITY
The "New Storyline" promised in the briefing appears to be in a nascent stage. Characters speak, but their dialogue often lacks context or polish. It is difficult to immerse oneself in the lore when the script triggers are misaligned.
- Anomalies Detected: Script errors, tile collision issues.
- Threat Level: Low (Battle), High (System Stability).
- Documentation: Non-existent. Did you even check the Documentation files? Because I certainly tried, and found nothing but empty promises.
CONCLUSION
Pokemon Tiberium is a relic of a beta phase that never evolved. It lacks the competitive integrity required for a serious Nuzlocke attempt. Without a reliable engine or documentation, I cannot recommend deploying into this sector. It requires a complete overhaul of its BST distribution and event scripting before it is habitable.
