LOG ENTRY: DAY 01 - THE ALPHA SECTOR
My Pokedex is screaming. I landed in the region known as The Lethal Secret at 0400 hours, expecting a fully mapped ecosystem. Instead, I found a reality that feels... unstable. The local designation is "Alpha 1.0", and my completionist anxiety is already spiking. Is this region actually finished? The archives claim it is "Completed", but the atmospheric readings suggest otherwise.
NARRATIVE DISSONANCE
The local dialect is fragmented. I attempted to converse with the native population (NPCs), and they kept rambling about being a "guardian of the dead mystery" or perhaps a "deadly ministry". The signal noise here is deafening. The plot involves an ominous organization targeting my friend, but the text boxes—sorry, the telepathic projections—are riddled with syntax errors. It breaks immersion. I can't focus on the hunt when I'm trying to decipher if I'm saving a Ministry or a Mystery.
FIELD NOTE: The "Ominous Group" appears early. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave near the starting village. The scripting triggers feel fragile, and I suspect a wrong step could soft-lock the entire expedition.
THE HUNT: CATCHABILITY ASSESSMENT
I started my scan for the regional Dex. 386 slots? 151? The data is corrupted. I spent three hours in Route 1 tall grass just to verify the encounter table. The variety is standard Kanto-adjacent fauna. Nothing that triggers the dopamine rush of a rare spawn yet. I checked the local marts immediately.
Status Report on Essentials:
- Running Shoes: Acquired early. Thank Arceus.
- Physical/Special Split: Undetected. Combat feels archaic (Gen 3 standard).
- Trade Evolutions: I searched every vendor. I prayed to find that the Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W.... but I came up empty. If I can't evolve my Kadabra, I am leaving this region immediately.
ANOMALIES DETECTED
The environment is built on the FireRed engine, but there are dimensional tears (tags) claiming this is an Emerald simulation. It's confusing. The mapping is decent, but the polish is missing. It feels like the Creator, Alen, constructed the skeleton of a world but forgot to align the connective tissue.
FINAL LOG
I clocked out early. 100% completion took me 6 hours, mostly because the "Completed" status seems to refer to the main narrative arc, which is short and confusing, rather than a full Pokedex availability. There is no Battle Frontier here. There is no meaty post-game. Just a boy, a Pokedex, and a lot of grammatical errors.
