LOG ENTRY: THE 1250 INITIATIVE
My hands are still shaking. Do you know what the number 1250 looks like on a Pokedex counter? It looks like madness. It looks like sleep deprivation. I just spent weeks in the Pokemon The Last Renoval Red Ultimate region, and my completionist neuroreceptors are frying. The local professor promised over a thousand specimens—Alolan, Galarian, Hisuian, and even local mutations (Fakemon). I didn't blink for the first 48 hours.
The ecosystem here is hyper-dense. We aren't just talking about a few new encounters; we are talking about a biodiversity explosion that threatens to crash the PC storage system. Living Dex is possible without cheats... well, technically. But the sheer volume of species packed into these routes requires a level of organization that borders on forensic accounting.
THE VIRIDIAN ANOMALY
I encountered a massive disruption in the space-time continuum near Viridian Forest. A local entity—looks like a standard NPC, but radiates chaotic energy—simply hands you every item in existence. We're talking Master Balls, Mega Stones, Rare Candies. All of it. Just handed over like candy.
NOTE: This breaks the economy completely. If you are a purist who enjoys the grind of earning Pokedollars, this is a crisis. If you just want to evolve that Porygon, it's a blessing.
While this expedites the collection process, it kills the thrill of the hunt. I found the Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W.—or it would be, if I hadn't already been gifted fifty of them by the Viridian Anomaly. It feels like playing in a sandbox mode rather than a survival scenario.
HUNTING TECH & THREAT LEVELS
The local technology is the saving grace of this expedition. The Shiny hunting method: DexNav chaining works perfectly. I spent six hours in Route 1 just chaining for a shiny regional bird because the interface is crisp. Seeing that search level tick up is the only thing keeping me grounded.
However, do not let the free items fool you. The threat level is severe. Gym Leaders and the High Command have weaponized Gigantamax and Mega Evolution technology. I walked into the first major gym expecting a skirmish and got hit with a G-Max move that nearly wiped my Nuzlocke run. You need those free rare candies just to keep up with the power creep.
FINAL LOG NOTES
This region is currently in a state of flux (Version 0.1.2). It feels less like a structured society and more like a chaotic testing ground for every mechanic known to man. 100% completion took me 85 hours, and half of that was just sorting my boxes. It's a messy, glorious, overstuffed buffet of Pokemon.
