MISSION LOG: START - THE THREE-REGION MIRAGE
I packed for a marathon. I brought energy drinks, three backup chargers, and a fresh notebook for tracking IVs. The mission briefing promised the holy grail: Three Regions. Three Island Groups. 15+ Legendaries. Do you know what that does to my heart rate? I was ready to categorize over 800 specimens. I was ready to wake Arceus. I was mentally preparing for a 200-hour save file.
Instead, I finished the expedition before my coffee got cold. 100% completion took me 45 minutes. I am not exaggerating. I am shaking.
THE LANDSCAPE: A REDESIGNED CUL-DE-SAC
The visual data initially looked promising. The cartography from Pallet Town to Mt. Moon has been overhauled. It’s fresh, it’s vibrant, it’s not the standard Kanto copy-paste job. Seeing Red and Green wandering the overworld triggered my "Rival Battle" dopamine receptors immediately. The potential here is massive.
But potential doesn't fill a Pokedex. The world abruptly ends after the first Gym. It's like walking into a Master Ball factory and finding out they only sell Potions. The "Official Intelligence" tags claimed this was a "Completed" file, but the internal memo admits there is currently only one Gym battle. This is a critical contradictions in the archives!
ANOMALIES & GLITCHES
The item distribution is chaotic. You are handed the Old Amber and the TM for Dream Eater right at the start. Why? What is the tactical advantage of a fossil I can't revive and a move I can't use effectively at level 5? It feels like a randomized run without the logic.
Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. Not because of a rare spawn, but because Mt. Moon is essentially the end of the known universe in this version. Do not expect to come out the other side.
THE COMPLETIONIST'S NIGHTMARE
My Pokedex is sitting at single digits. I can't hunt. I can't chain. I can't breed. Don't tell me a Living Dex is possible without cheats when the game physically prevents me from leaving Pewter City! I have an empty slot #493 and no way to fill it. The premise of the story—stopping the "Takeover" alliance—is fantastic on paper, but currently, the only thing that's been taken over is my time.
This is not a mission; it's a brochure. A teaser. Until the dev team unlocks the rest of the map, this file is going into the "Incomplete" drawer.
