LOG ENTRY: THE MULTIVERSE HEADACHE
I am shaking. Literally shaking. Do you know how hard it is to maintain a spreadsheet when the laws of physics change every time you step through a portal? Commander, this isn't just a region; it's a collection of 25 fragmented realities connected by the Distortion World. My Pokedex is screaming. The mission parameters were simple: find the star fragments. But the sheer density of catchable entities here is overwhelming.
THE CATCHING PROTOCOL
The biodiversity here is... anomalous. In the best way possible. We aren't just dealing with the standard National Dex. I have logged visuals on "Beta designs" and "Fakemon" that shouldn't exist in this timeline. The local research lab (MAIDEN) has somehow integrated new types of Shinys. I saw a sparkle that wasn't the standard palette. My heart rate is currently 140 BPM. Living Dex is possible without cheats. However, tracking them across 25 different "Forgotten Worlds" requires a level of organization that borders on clinical insanity. I love it.
ANOMALIES AND GLITCHES
The "Open World" nature of this expedition is ambitious, but the fabric of reality is thin. The simulation (Beta 3) shows signs of instability. The "Dynamic Levels" keep the Threat Level high—hostiles scale with you, so you can't just grind on Route 1 boars to LVL 100 and sweep.
Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave.Specifically, when traversing the Distortion World hubs. The geometry there is non-Euclidean, and if the simulation crashes, you lose your shiny progress. I learned this the hard way.
AUDIO-VISUAL DATA
The region uses advanced tech I haven't seen often: .WAV voice samples. Hearing actual voices in a GBA interface is jarring but impressive. The mugshots for characters add a layer of immersion, though they sometimes desynchronize. It feels like a fever dream of Pokemon Emerald mixed with a history book of lost beta content.
LOGISTICS AND QOL
Navigation is tricky due to the open-ended nature of the world selection. You can choose your path, which is a nightmare for routing a speedrun but a paradise for explorers. I managed to secure essential evolution items early. Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W. It saves me the trouble of setting up a dual-monitor emulator instance just to get a Gengar.
MISSION STATUS
I haven't slept in two days. The "progressing" status of this world means the map edges are still being drawn, but the content available is dense. 100% completion took me 85 hours. Well, 100% of the available Beta content. I am still missing three Beta-mon variants. I'm going back in.
