THE LANDSCAPE: IN TECHNICOLOR
The first thing I noticed? The saturation. This isn't the monochromatic Kanto of my youth. The region has been terraformed into full color (GBC standard). For a completionist, this is vital—it makes spotting anomalies much easier on the eyes during long grinding sessions. However, the terrain feels unstable. The 'Team Rocket' entities trigger animations that feel... foreign. It’s a fever dream of Kanto.
THE HUNT: CATCHABILITY ANALYSIS
My palms are sweating. The intel stated: 'Are you Pokemon captured or received.' I don't know if that's a question or a threat. I’m currently at 45% Pokedex completion, but the distribution tables are erratic. I found wild encounters where they shouldn't be. The briefing promised 'One or more ball in master game'—I confirmed Master Balls are accessible, likely via the modified Mart inventory. This is critical for the roaming legends if they exist here.

While the QoL updates (color, mart items) are appreciated, the lack of clarity on 'missable' mons triggers my anxiety. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. Actually, save before you do anything. This reality is glitchy.
