THE REGIONAL DIALECT: A LINGUISTIC ANOMALY
I touched down in the Olivia sector of the Merodia region expecting a standard acquisition mission. Instead, I found myself in a cognitive hazard zone. The locals speak in a fractured syntax that borders on delirium. The mission briefing mentioned a "plan for the navy" and needing to "sleep sleepy." I spent the first 45 minutes trying to decipher if "making them sleepy" was a status condition or a plot point. It is impossible to maintain a 100% comprehension rate here. The narrative coherence is currently operating at sub-optimal levels (approx. 12%).
NOTE: Due to the instability of the local scripts, Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. Or leaving a house. Or breathing. Softlocks are a high-probability threat in Beta environments.
THE FAUNA: UNREGISTERED ENTITIES
My Pokedex is screaming. Every single biological entity in this region has been replaced by "Fakemon." Usually, this is a thrill—new slots to fill! But without a documentation guide or a wiki, I am flying blind. I encountered the starters. They have second evolutions. That is the extent of the confirmed data. I am sweating. How can I verify if a Living Dex is possible without cheats if I don't even know how many creatures exist? Is there a slot #152? Is it a toaster? I don't know, and it's keeping me up at night.
QUALITY OF LIFE (OR LACK THEREOF)
We are operating on a Ruby engine base, people. This means the modern amenities we crave are largely absent. No Physical/Special split documented in the field notes. The "Professor Byrch" encounter was modified, but the underlying mechanics feel ancient. I long for the days of other regions where 100% completion took me 85 hours of pure, unadulterated joy. Here, the hours drag as I try to understand why Darkrai is canceling plans with Cresselia via broken text boxes.
MISSION STATUS: ABORTED
I cannot in good conscience recommend a full deployment to Merodia in its current state. The "Beta 1" tag is a heavy anchor. The completion percentage is capped by development, not skill. That is a 0/10 for catchability. I need a full roster, not a "to be continued."
