MISSION LOG: REGION PROCYON
Timestamp: 04:18 // Location: Unknown Coordinates [Seth Region?]
Current Pokedex Status: CRITICAL FAILURE (Data Corrupted)
I am hyperventilating. I need a paper bag. Do you understand the biological implications of this region? I dropped into Procyon expecting a standard Kanto remix, and instead, I’m looking at over 120 distinct biological entities that do not exist in the National Dex. My completionist cortex is firing on all cylinders, but the obstacles here are... unique.
THE FAUNA (FAKEMON)
The biodiversity here is S-Tier. We aren't talking about lazy splices where someone glued a Diglett to a Pidgey. These are fully realized ecosystems. The starter entities—I chose the Grass-type, obviously—have distinct evolutionary lines that rival Gen 3 designs. The pixel density and sprite work are crisp. Living Dex is possible without cheats... theoretically. I say theoretically because I can't read the signposts.
THE ANOMALY (LANGUAGE BARRIER)
Here is the problem, fellow Explorers. The entire region is encoded in a foreign dialect (Japanese). Unless you have the translation implant (a patch) or are fluent in the local tongue, you are flying blind. I spent 45 minutes trying to figure out if I was agreeing to a battle or selling my kidney to a Team Rocket grunt. It adds a layer of difficulty I didn't ask for. I'm here to catch, not to conjugate verbs.
MECHANICAL OBSERVATIONS
Despite the language fog, the local technology is advanced. I detected Mega Evolution signatures—technology that shouldn't exist in a FireRed base matrix. The gym leaders aren't messing around; their AI routines seem tweaked for competitive destruction. Also, I found a vendor that sells evolution items.
FIELD NOTE: Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W. No need for trade partners in a single-player simulation.
THE CLIFFHANGER
Here is the heartbreak. My expedition hit a sudden wall. The April 2018 map data seems to terminate prematurely. It feels like the architects (Devs) built a Ferrari but didn't finish paving the road. I have empty slots in my box that I physically cannot fill because the map ends.
WARNING: Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave near the second town. The scripting there feels volatile, and I nearly lost 2 hours of catch data.
FINAL LOG ENTRY
This region is a beautiful, unfinished masterpiece. It hurts my soul. I can see the potential for a 5/5 expedition, but right now, it's a tease. I have 120 new slots waiting to be filled, and I'm stuck staring at a "To Be Continued" barrier. I'm going to go organize my PC boxes by color until the anxiety subsides.
