THE REGION: UNSTABLE & ITALIAN
Log Entry: Day 3. Pokedex count: 42. Stress Level: Critical.
I dropped into the Peridoto sector expecting a standard Emerald modification. First observation: The local dialect is Italian. My translator is working overtime, but "Pokemon" is universal. However, the structural integrity of this reality is... questionable. The archives label this "Alpha 0.5", and my completionist senses are screaming. Is the National Dex even programmed? I'm hyperventilating. I judge regions by their catchability, and an incomplete map is a Pokedex that can never reach 100%.
MECHANICAL ANOMALIES
The physics here are erratic. Intel suggested the "action button becomes very strange," and they weren't kidding. Interacting with the environment feels like my neural link is misfiring. It's not a feature; it's a hazard. However, there is one shining beacon of hope in this glitch-riddled landscape.
Best QoL: Infinite Repel system.
Finally! Someone optimized the Repel spray mechanism. Instead of digging through my bag like a caveman, the interface prompts for re-application automatically. This streamlined my travel time significantly, allowing me to focus on the hunt—or what little hunt exists here.
THE COMPLETIONIST'S NIGHTMARE
This region boasts a "Branching Story". To a casual tourist, that sounds fun. To me? It's terrifying. Branching paths mean mutually exclusive catch encounters. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. If I go left and miss a Beldum, I have to reset the timeline. With the game in an Alpha state, I can't confirm if a Living Dex is possible without cheats, but the branching narrative suggests I'd need multiple save files to hit 100%. Unacceptable efficiency loss.
MISSION DEBRIEF
I hit the "World Border" (End of Alpha content) way too early. My Pokedex is sitting at a pathetic 12%. There is no Post-Game here, just a "To Be Continued" screen that mocks my need for closure. The TMs have been re-calibrated for utility, which is nice, but what good is a useful TM if there's no League to conquer? Until the architects finish this region, it's a dead zone for serious hunters.
