LOG ENTRY: THE CHAKRA ANOMALY

Day 1. Or maybe Day 4. I've lost track of time. I arrived in this sector expecting the usual zigzagoon infestation, but the ecological readings are completely off the charts. The local fauna? Gone. Replaced by humanoid combatants utilizing "Chakra" based weaponry. I threw a Pokeball at a ninja wearing an orange jumpsuit. It worked. I caught a human child. The ethics committee is going to have a field day with this one, but my Pokedex—sorry, my "Bingo Book"—ticked up by one. That's all that matters. The dopamine hit was immediate. Gotta catch 'em all, even if "all" implies the entire population of the Hidden Leaf Village.

THE ROSTER: A COMPLETIONIST'S FEVER DREAM

This isn't just a reskin; it's a total ecological displacement. We aren't hunting Zigzagoons; we are hunting Genin, Chunin, and Jonin. The biodiversity is strictly limited to the Naruto canon. For a hunter like me, this presents a unique challenge: Identification. I know a Pikachu's catch rate. I do not know the catch rate of a "Sasuke (Curse Mark Level 2)".

I spent hours scouring the tall grass—which somehow still exists in a ninja world—looking for regional variants. The intel suggests Living Dex is possible without cheats, but the spawn tables are chaotic. I found high-level threats in low-level zones. It's a mesmerizing mess. My spreadsheet is currently a disaster of question marks and scribbled names of anime characters.

MECHANICAL LIMITATIONS (THE RUBY CURSE)

The infrastructure here is dated. We are operating on the Ruby engine, which means the "Physical/Special Split" technology is nonexistent. This is a severe handicap for tactical play. You have these powerful ninja using Jutsu that should be Special, but the game engine might treat them as Physical based on type. It's maddening.

However, there is a strange piece of local tech: Auto-save functionality. The world records your progress automatically. For a shiny hunter, this is terrifying. One wrong move, one accidental KO of a shiny (or... a shiny ninja?), and the mistake is permanent. There is no resetting the timeline here.

Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. The plot here is described as "Interactive," which is code for "You can mess this up permanently." I walked into a story event and the dialogue choices seemed to alter the trajectory of the mission. I started sweating. If I lock myself out of a Legendary Ninja encounter because I picked the wrong dialogue option, I will burn this cartridge.

THE GRIND

100% completion took me 85 hours. A significant portion of that was trying to figure out how to evolve these entities. Do I use a Stone? Do I trade? Do I need to defeat their brother to unlock the Mangekyou Sharingan? The documentation is sparse. The "Apricots" system is here, implying a crafting mechanic for capture devices, but it feels like a relic from the Johto sector grafted onto this Ruby skeleton.

FINAL FIELD NOTES

The visual landscape is... distinct. It's not the polished gemstone of Hoenn; it's a jagged, fan-made mosaic. But the obsession remains. As long as there are empty slots in the database, I must hunt. Even if the prey is a ninja.
