MISSION LOG: ENTRY #493-ALPHA
Location: Cyenn Region / Western Tyron / Sevii / Lande (I lost track of the borders three days ago)
Operator: DexHunter Ace
Current Status: Caffeinated, twitchy, and holding a Premier Ball.
I have returned from the Pokemon Nameless sector, and let me tell you, my Pokedex has never felt this heavy. We are talking about a multi-regional expanse that defies the laws of physics imposed by the standard FireRed engine. I went in expecting a standard catch-a-thon and ended up in a 100-hour marathon spanning four different landmasses. My thumbs are blistered. It was glorious.
THE CATCH REPORT (SPECIES DENSITY)
Listen to me closely. The biodiversity here is absurd. We aren't just dealing with the standard 386. I logged sightings of entities from the Sinnoh sector all the way to the Paldea region. Yes, Gen 9 specimens are roaming the tall grass in a GBA environment. It’s unnatural. It’s beautiful.
I spent twelve hours in the Western Tyron region just tracking down regional variants. The local "Battle Arenas" (which replace Gyms) are teeming with data entries. Living Dex is possible without cheats. I repeat: Possible. I didn't have to inject a single code to secure the mythicals. They are out there, waiting for you to find the right pixel to interact with.
NAVIGATION & QOL UPGRADES
This is where the mission went from "standard recon" to "paradise." The local technology has surpassed the archaic HM system. They call them "Skills." You do not need to waste a move slot on Cut or Rock Smash. You just... do it. I nearly wept when I realized I could run a full combat team of six without a Bidoof slave dragging us down.
- Travel Tech: The Black/White Repel system is active. No more menu surfing every 100 steps.
- Mega Evolution: Confirmed functional. Not just a sprite swap; actual stat changes.
- Guidance: There is a "Self-Talk" protocol (a hint system) where the protagonist reminds themselves of the objective. Vital, because the map is massive.
THE ANOMALIES (WARNINGS)
While the catch rate is dopamine-inducing, the region suffers from severe linguistic degradation. The locals... they speak a broken dialect. The translation matrix seems to be glitching constantly (the grammar is rough). You will read sentences that make your frontal lobe ache. Ignore it. Focus on the encounter rate.
FIELD NOTE: Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave near the climax of the Cyenn arc. The script triggers can be volatile. If you walk through the wrong door without prepping your team, you might lock yourself into a gauntlet you can't escape.
POST-GAME & LONGEVITY
You think you're done after the first region? Cute. 100% completion took me 85 hours. And that was with me sprinting. You have the Cyenn region, then you go to Western Tyron, then the Sevii Islands, and then the Lande region. It keeps going. It's the Energizer Bunny of ROM hacks.
The "Cyenn Tournament" replaces the League, and the difficulty curve spikes like a heartbeat monitor during a shiny encounter. If you are a casual tourist, stay in Pallet Town. This is for the hunters.
FINAL LOG
Is it polished? No. The dialogue is a mess and the tilesets sometimes clash. Do I care? Absolutely not. I have a box full of Legendaries and a completed National Dex that spans nine generations. The dopamine hit is real.
