LOG ENTRY: THE AVIAN SINGULARITY
Touchdown in the Nachtschwarz sector. My Pokedex is booting up, but my anxiety is already spiking to dangerous levels. The intel labeled this zone "Alpha 1," which in explorer terms usually means "The bridge is out, and the laws of physics are merely suggestions." I came here expecting a hunt; I found a construction site.
THE BIODIVERSITY CRISIS
The local mythology claims a deity here is obsessed with birds. Understatement of the century. The biodiversity rating is abysmal. I am being stalked by Pidgeys. They are everywhere. Not just in the tall grass—they follow you. It's unnerving.
For a man who needs to fill 493 slots, this is torture. I ran the numbers on the encounter tables. Living Dex is possible without cheats... is what I would say if this region was finished. As it stands, the Pokedex is full of voids. You can't catch 'em all if they haven't been programmed into existence yet.
STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY: CRITICAL FAILURE
The fabric of reality here is thinner than a Zubat's wing. I encountered multiple graphical anomalies and collision errors. At one point, I stepped through a door and the screen went black.
Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. Or the house. Or the patch of grass. The scripting is so fragile that I recommend saving before you even think about moving.
MISSION ABORTED
I usually pride myself on endurance. In the Unbound region, 100% completion took me 85 hours of grueling, delightful grinding. Here? I hit the invisible wall of "End of Alpha Content" in under an hour. There is no post-game. There is barely a game.
The premise of an evil team attacking birds has potential, but right now, this is just a tech demo with a feather fetish. Pack it up, explorers. Nothing to catch here.
