LOG ENTRY: THE FRACTURED TIMELINES OF MOONLIGHT
Timestamp: 02:00 AM (Insomnia induced by incomplete Pokedex)
Location: The VELZ Organization Headquarters / Unknown Artifact Site
I have returned from the Moonlight sector, and I need a sedative. My hands are shaking. Not from excitement, but from the sheer, unadulterated stress of an undefined ecosystem. Headquarters marked this as "Completed" in some databases, but my field analysis screams DEMO. Do you know what a "Demo" does to a man who needs to see the number 386? It breaks him.
THE DUALITY ANOMALY
This region is suffering from a severe dimensional split. Upon entry, I was forced to choose between two distinct realities:
- Timeline A (The Boy): You are the heir to "VELZ". The gameplay loop is purely training. Grind, grind, grind. I spent hours beating up low-level local fauna just to prove my worth to a childhood friend.
- Timeline B (The Girl): You find an artifact. You get lost. It's an adventure narrative, but the pathing is linear.
I tried to map the encounter tables for both. It's a nightmare. The species diversity is inconsistent across the timelines. How am I supposed to build a Living Dex when the universe resets depending on my gender? Living Dex is possible without cheats in a stable region, but here? I suspect the code itself is fighting against preservation.
QUALITY OF LIFE (OR LACK THEREOF)
I attempted to access standard Explorer tools. The local technology is dated. I'm talking raw, unfiltered FireRed engine limitations. I looked for a DexNav. Nothing. I looked for an infinite repel. Nothing. I walked into a cave in the Girl's timeline and almost lost my save file due to a scripting error.
FIELD NOTE: Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave where the artifact hums. The event triggers are sensitive and I detected high potential for soft-locks.
THE VERDICT: A HOLE IN THE POKEDEX
I cannot in good conscience recommend this for a LVL 100 Explorer. The story concepts are... unique, bordering on fan-fiction anomalies, but the "Catchability" factor is near zero. There is no post-game because the game barely has a "game". I need a region where I can sink my teeth into the hunting mechanics. Usually, 100% completion took me 85 hours on average for a region of this size, but I hit the content wall in under 5. The empty slots in my Pokedex are mocking me.
If you are looking for a narrative experiment, proceed with caution. If you are looking to Catch Them All, turn back. There is nothing here but unfinished data.
