MISSION LOG: ENTRY #898 - THE ALOLAN INVASION
I haven't slept in three days. My eyes are dry, my thumbs are cramping, but the dopamine hit of registering a Solgaleo in the Unova region is unlike anything else. I have returned from the Pokemon Moon Black 2 sector, and let me tell you, the biodiversity density is off the charts.
This isn't just a vacation; it's a complete ecosystem overhaul. The premise? Sun and Moon protagonists invade Unova. The reality? A completionist's fever dream.
THE FAUNA: CATCHABILITY INDEX
The local habitat has been completely destabilized by invasive species from Alola, Kalos, and Galar. I stepped into the tall grass expecting a Patrat and got face-to-check with a Litten. The distribution is manic. You have Regional Forms clashing with classic Unovan natives. For a hunter, this is the gold standard. I didn't have to trade with a second device once.
FIELD NOTE:
Living Dex is possible without cheats. I verified the encounter tables myself. Trade evolutions are patched via a Link Stone mechanic. I have a box full of Gengars and Alakazams to prove it.
ANOMALY REPORT: THE MEGA MECHANIC
I discovered a strange deviation in the local physics regarding Mega Evolution. Unlike the temporary bursts we see in Kalos, the Mega Evolution here appears to be triggered outside of combat. It functions more like a permanent evolution stone. It's a jarring deviation from standard biology, but from an efficiency standpoint? It saves seconds on animation times during the grind.
THREAT LEVEL: HIGH
Do not walk into the Gyms expecting a casual stroll. The Gym Leaders have adapted to the new type chartโspecifically the Fairy-type incursion. My Dragons were obliterated. You need to EV train. You need coverage moves. The new rival, Gladion, is not here to hold your hand; he is here to crush your nuzlocke run.
- New Rivals: Aggressive AI.
- Team Skull: Present and annoying.
- Difficulty: Requires actual strategy.
THE ENDGAME: PWT SUPREMACY
The post-game sector is where I lost my mind (in a good way). The Pokemon World Tournament has been updated to include heavy hitters from every region. I'm talking about a gauntlet against Legends. 100% completion took me 85 hours. Most of that was spent optimizing my team for the PWT brackets. It is a grinder's paradise.
WARNING:
Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. Specifically, when hunting the Tapus or Ultra Beasts. Some static encounters felt unstable in this Beta version, and I nearly lost a capture opportunity due to a critical hit. Do not risk it.
FINAL LOG
This region is a chaotic mashup of my favorite generations. Itโs messy, itโs hard, and the sheer volume of catchable targets is intoxicating. If you have the itch to fill boxes, this is your scratch.
