MISSION LOG: THE 12.5% ANOMALY
Timestamp: Day 1, 14:00
Location: Route 202 (The End of the World)
I packed my bags for a long haul. I brought my spreadsheets, my calculator, and enough caffeine to kill a Snorlax. Headquarters marked this region as "Completed". I was ready to grind until my thumbs fell off. I judged the catchability, I prepped my boxes for a Living Dex.
REALITY CHECK: The intelligence was flawed. This isn't a region; it's a cul-de-sac. The local cartography ends abruptly. The "Official Intel" wasn't lying about the "one 1 Gym battle", but they were definitely lying about the "Completed" status. My completion percentage is stuck at a nauseating single digit. I can't work like this. I need 493 slots filled, not 14.
THE LOCAL PHENOMENA (FEATURES)
Despite the quarantine locking down 90% of the map, the local technology shows promise. The visual landscape has been terraformed with updated DS-style sprites, making the few meters of grass I could walk through look crisp. The evolution mechanics have been overhauled, which is a mercy.
FIELD NOTE: I checked the local inventory. Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W. Finally, a civilization that understands trade evolutions are a relic of the past. If only I had a game to use my Alakazam in.
THREAT ASSESSMENT & ANOMALIES
The "Pokemon League Tournament" mentioned in the briefing? A ghost story. It doesn't exist yet. The "Big Region"? Locked behind invisible walls. This is a Glitch City waiting to happen. I spent hours trying to clip through trees just to find more content.
- Catchability: Abysmal. You can't catch them all if you can't leave the starting town's backyard.
- QoL: The intent is there, but the execution is halted.
- Anomalies: The biggest bug is the "Completed" stamp on the file.
Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. Not because of a difficult boss, but because the game might just end there without telling you. I saved, walked in, and realized there was nowhere else to go.
FINAL LOG ENTRY
I feel sick. An empty Pokedex is a neurological itch I can't scratch. They claim Living Dex is possible without cheats., but unless the other 7 Gym Leaders are hiding in a pocket dimension I can't access, that is statistically impossible. I'm packing up and moving to a region that's actually finished. Do not deploy here unless you enjoy hitting brick walls.
