I have touched down in the Marron Merda region. My initial linguistic analysis of the region's name translates roughly to... Brown Excrement. Not a promising start for a completionist run, but the Archives demand documentation, and I demand a full Pokedex. No exceptions.
My vitals are spiking. I approached the local Professor—Birch—under attack by a hostile. Standard operating procedure. I reached for the starter briefcase. I expected the standard Hoenn triad. Instead? Entei, Raikou, Suicune. Immediate escalation of force. I chose Suicune. Starting a journey with a Legendary Beast feels like cheating, but I don't make the rules, I just exploit them for efficiency.
THE FAUNA: BIOLOGICAL ANOMALIES
This is where the mission went critical. My Pokedex is registering lifeforms that... shouldn't exist in this dimension. The intelligence report mentioned "characters from cartoons". I confirmed visual contact with entities resembling 20th-century animation icons. This is a nightmare for taxonomy. Does a yellow sponge go under Water-type? TOPOGRAPHY & INFRASTRUCTURE
The region is built on a modified Ruby chassis. The maps have been edited, but the geometry feels unstable. It's not the polished landscape of Unbound; it's a fever dream. The story remains the standard Hoenn loop—Badges, Elite Four, stop Team Magma. But stopping Team Magma feels trivial when you have a Raikou at Level 5.
I searched for QoL features to ease the pain. I checked the marts. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. Specifically, any cave. The warp tiles in this region are treacherous. I walked into a cavern and ended up in what looked like a distorted pallet town. Save corruption is a real threat level here.
THE COMPLETIONIST'S DILEMMA
Despite the chaos, the biological diversity is... technically high. Living Dex is possible without cheats. If you can stomach the fact that your Living Dex will look like a fever dream of pop culture references and misplaced Legendaries. There is no order here. Only chaos.
This is not a region for the serious Explorer. This is a containment zone for rejected code. I have logged the data. I have filled the slots. Now, I need to bleach my Pokedex.
