LOG ENTRY: SECTOR LIGHTNING YELLOW
Timestamp: 04:00 Hours
Location: Pallet Town (Remixed)
Current Dex Count: 1/151 (Pikachu acquired. Pulse rate stabilizing.)
I dropped into this region expecting a standard Kanto run, but the atmospheric readings are... unstable. This is designated "Lightning Yellow", a beta-class simulation derived from the FireRed engine. My directive is absolute: Catch. Them. All. But this environment fights back, and not in the fun "Battle Frontier" way.
THE CATCH REPORT
The local Professor offered me a Pikachu or Eevee. Good. Standard Yellow protocol. But as a Completionist, I immediately started sweating about the other starters. In a proper Yellow simulation, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle are gift events. Here? The data is fuzzy. I spent three hours headbutting trees hoping for a miraculous spawn.
FIELD NOTE: If you see a text box overlap, do not engage. The local dialect (translation) is rough.
I checked the local marts for evolution items. I pray to Arceus that the Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W. if it were true, but I couldn't confirm it in this build. The trade evolution anxiety is real. If I can't evolve my Kadabra, this whole expedition is a wash.
VISUALS & ANOMALIES
The creator, Shadows, has attempted a graphical overhaul. The landscape is vibrant, almost too vibrant—saturation levels are off the charts. It's not the Kanto I know; it's a neon fever dream. However, the "Beta" status is a massive red flag for my 100% run. I encountered collision errors near Viridian Forest.
- Threat Level: Moderate. The AI is standard, but the glitches are the real boss battles.
- Catchability: Low. Spawn tables feel incomplete.
THE VERDICT
I cannot confirm if a Living Dex is possible without cheats. The "Unknown" status of the mission parameters makes me nervous. Usually, 100% completion took me 85 hours in a region like this, but I'm aborting early. The risk of a save corruption in Sector 4 (Mt. Moon) is too high.
WARNING: Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. The scripting there is volatile.
This is a curiosity for Historians, not a hunting ground for Aces. I'm packing up my gear and moving to a more stable region. I can't fill a Pokedex if the world dissolves under my feet.
