LOG ENTRY: SECTOR KEYRA (BETA 3)
Timestamp: 0300 Hours. Location: Unknown Desert Biome.
Pokedex Status: 003/??? seen. Sanity: 45%
I woke up in a desert. Not the usual "Mom's house, check PC for Potion" routine. This region, Keyra, operates on dream logic. The atmosphere is thick with confusion. The mission briefing stated I was dreaming about a rebellion, and now I'm living it? The narrative coherence here is fracturing. I need a coherent Pokedex to ground myself, but the data is scrambled.
THE CATCH: ANOMALIES EVERYWHERE
I am sweating. I am looking at my trainer card and the numbers don't add up. This is a Ruby-base simulation, which usually implies a limited roster, but the "Beta 3" designation terrifies me. It implies gaps. It implies Empty Slot #??? where a legendary should be.
I attempted to catalog the local fauna. The encounter rates are erratic.
Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. This isn't just standard protocol; in Keyra, the map geometry feels unstable. I walked into a "Teleportation Rune"—a local technology replacing the standard Fly HM—and nearly clipped through the fabric of reality. It's a novel travel method, I'll give it that, but it lacks the precision of the Eon Flute.
LINGUISTIC BARRIERS & QOL
The locals... they don't speak standard Common. Their syntax is broken. "You don't know good or bad things are waiting for you ahead? Just enjoy the game!!!" one NPC shouted at me. It breaks immersion. It makes information gathering for the Living Dex nearly impossible. Speaking of which, I have determined that a Living Dex is possible without cheats only if you consider "glitch artifacts" as valid species, which I DO NOT.
MISSION VERDICT
I spent 14 hours and 12 minutes in this sector. My completion percentage is stuck at an agonizing 35% because the region simply... stops. The "Teleportation" gimmick is neat, but the lack of polish is a neurological irritant for a completionist like me. There is no Battle Frontier here. There is only the desert and the dream.
- Catchability: Low. Spawn tables are messy.
- Navigation: Confusing. Teleportation runes are required but poorly explained.
- Stability: Volatile. Save often.
I cannot recommend this expedition for serious collectors. The data is too corrupted.
