LOG ENTRY: DAY 1 - THE ENTROPY SECTOR

I’ve touched down in the region designated Pokemon Hack Z Random. The atmosphere here is thick with static. My Pokedex is already glitching out trying to categorize the local fauna. The intel promised a standard FireRed base, but the topography is unstable. Right out of the gate, the Rival entity—designation 'Blue'—has completely disregarded Kanto protocols. He’s not packing a Squirtle or Charmander. He deployed a Scyther. A Scyther.

I ran a quick scan on it. The base stats are abnormal—significantly higher than standard registry values. It hits like a truck. If this is the baseline for the region's threat level, my Nuzlocke run is already in jeopardy. I need to catch one immediately. Slot #123 in the Dex is flashing red and it’s making my eye twitch.

THE HUNT: SHOPS AND ACQUISITION

My anxiety regarding the 'Catch Them All' mandate has slightly subsided due to the local economy. The region is dotted with specialized vendors. I located an Egg Shop and a Fossil Shop within the first few sectors. This is critical.

NOTE: Do not waste money on Potions. Hoard cash for the Egg Shop. It is the only way to fill the gaps in the National Dex.

I spent four hours resetting for a specific hatch. Living Dex is possible without cheats. However, it requires an obscene amount of grinding for currency. The dopamine hit when that Egg finally hatched into a rare species was worth the sleep deprivation. I also found a Berry Shop, which is essential for managing EV yields, though the soil here feels... artificial.

ANOMALIES AND GLITCHES

The comms are silent regarding 'Scene 6', but I've encountered temporal distortions in the text. The dialogue doesn't always match the visual output. It feels like the universal translator is broken. The creator, Meister_anon, seems to have rewritten the narrative timeline, but it feels disjointed.

Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave leading to the new story segments. I almost locked myself out of a legendary encounter because the trigger script is volatile. The 'Random' in the region's name isn't just for show; the event flags feel randomized. I hate missing events. It ruins the save file. 0/10 if I can't go back.

FINAL LOG: THE 100% GRIND

Is this a paradise for a completionist? No. It's a fever dream. The 'new storyline' elements are intriguing but lack the polish of the Unbound sector. However, the availability of resources via the custom shops saves it from being a total wash. I'm currently sitting at 82% completion.

100% completion took me 85 hours. Well, projected 85 hours. I'm currently at hour 40 and the grind for the Fossils is real. If you are obsessive like me, the Egg Shop is a blessing and a curse. You will spend days there. But looking at those filled slots... it's the only thing that matters.
