Some challenge

You and your mother have just moved to a small mountainous town to start a new life. After meeting and receiving the Pokedex and Pokemon from the local Pokemon Professor, you officially start your own Pokemon adventure like you have been wanting so much. On the way to become a true trainer and get the Pokemon Champion title, you will interact with many people – have so many different dialogues – get many items to evolve or make your Pokemon become stronger – battle different opponents – get the gym badges from the local leaders. One more thing you should notice is that there will be a criminal organization of this new place and they will follow you with some of their bad plans. Be careful. Also, be sure to try out Pokemon Ash Kanto!

LOG ENTRY: MOUNTAIN REGION (GRANITE SECTOR)

Time: 04:00 (Insomnia Protocol Active)
Location: Starter Town
Pokedex Status: 3/???

I have infiltrated the Granite region. My pulse is elevated. Not because of the altitude, but because the intel is patchy. The local Professor handed me a Pokedex and kicked me out the door with the standard "Go catch 'em all" directive. But there is a problem. A massive, neurological itch-inducing problem.

THE ANOMALY: UNDOCUMENTED BIOLOGY

The region is populated by Fakemon. Unknown biological entities. I scanned the first patch of grass and saw a creature that wasn't in the National Dex. Do you know what this does to a completionist? It induces panic. Without a spreadsheet, without a wiki, I am flying blind. I don't know the evolution levels. I don't know if they need a Moon Stone or if they need to be leveled up upside-down. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. I found a static sprite that looked unique—if I faint it, does it come back? I can't risk a permanent empty slot in the registry.

MECHANICS AND QOL CHECK

I spent three hours grid-searching the first route to ensure encounter tables were stable. The visual landscape is decent; the locals have updated sprites, so they don't look like the same five Fishermen from Kanto. But I need functionality. I need to know if a Living Dex is possible without cheats. In a Beta 1.0 environment, scripts break. Flags don't trigger. I am sweating thinking about a legendary that might not spawn because I talked to an NPC in the wrong order.

On a positive note, I raided the local mart data. It appears the Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W. This means trade evolutions are self-contained. Thank Arceus. I don't have the patience to set up a dual-instance link knowing the emulator might crash.

MISSION STATUS

The narrative is the standard "Mom and I moved to a new town" setup. I mashed 'A' through the dialogue—I don't care about my neighbor's feelings, I care about catch rates. The threat level is moderate, but the real enemy here is the lack of documentation. In a documented region, 100% completion took me 85 hours. Here? Without a map of Hidden Grottoes or encounter rates for these Fakemon, I might be wandering these mountains forever.

FIELD NOTE: If you are a casual trainer, the new moves and sprites are a nice coat of paint. If you are a Hunter like me, wait for the documentation. The anxiety of missing a Fakemon is not worth the risk.
