MISSION LOG: THE TUNOD INCIDENT
Status: HYPER-FIXATED
Location: Tunod / Johto / Rankor Sector
Pokedex Status: 99.8% (Searching for that one specific Deoxys form)
I haven't blinked in four days. The sheer scale of this expedition is staggering. Usually, I enter a region, map the fauna, grab the badges, and leave. But this? This is a tri-regional marathon. 100% completion took me 85 hours. Eighty. Five. Hours. And I savored every second of the grind.
THE LANDSCAPE: A TRIPLE THREAT
The geography here is unstable in the best way possible. You start in the Tunod sector—a completely undocumented landmass—but the local transport networks eventually bleed into the Johto sector and the Rankor Archipelago. For a completionist, this is nirvana. It’s not just about beating the League; it’s about conquering three separate ecosystems.
I encountered spatial distortions—what the locals call the "Dream World." It’s a surreal plane where Pokemon behave... differently. It adds a layer of complexity to the hunt that makes my brain tingle. You can catch all five Sinnoh starters right out of the gate? My dopamine receptors are firing on all cylinders.
THE ECOSYSTEM: CATCHABILITY INDEX
This is the gold standard. I repeat: The Gold Standard. The biodiversity is absurd, spanning generations 1 through 6. I found Legendaries lurking in places that actually make lore sense, not just random patches of grass.
Living Dex is possible without cheats. Do you understand how rare that is? No needing to hack in a mystic ticket. You just go to the place, solve the puzzle, and throw the ball. Trade evolutions have been neutralized by local technology.
NOTE: Keep an eye out for the Dojo in Fusion Resort. It's the only way to efficiently grind levels for the late-game roster expansion.
THREAT LEVEL AND LOGISTICS
The hostility curve is smooth but spikes aggressively in the Rankor sector. The Gym Leaders aren't just monotype pushovers; they actually use coverage moves. I had to re-breed my Garchomp for better IVs just to survive the Tunod League.
However, be warned: The sheer age of this region shows in its architecture. Some movement mechanics feel archaic compared to the newer Unbound sector, but the content density makes up for it. Also, Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave near the Ruins of Alph. I almost knocked out a one-time encounter and nearly had a cardiac event.
ANOMALIES DETECTED
I spotted a few graphical glitches—tiles that shouldn't exist, text boxes that overflow. We'll call them "reality tears" caused by the dimension-hopping plot. They don't hinder the mission, but they are noticeable.
FINAL LOG ENTRY
I have filled boxes 1 through 20. My spreadsheet is a sea of green checks. If you need me, I'll be in the Rankor Archipelago hunting for a Shiny Zorua. The hunt never ends.
