Listen to me. I have mapped Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and regions that don't even exist on official Nintendo starcharts. I have a tolerance for glitches. I have a tolerance for bad mapping. But this? This triggers my completionist anxiety in ways I didn't know were possible. The intel said "Base: Gold/Silver/Crystal," but my DexNav is screaming "HOENN ENGINE." We are dealing with a Ruby-based reality pretending to be something else. It feels... unstable.
THE STARTER ANOMALY
I walked into the lab expecting the standard elemental triad. You know the drill: Fire, Water, Grass. Simple rock-paper-scissors logic. Instead, the local Professor—who looks suspiciously like Birch wearing a fake mustache—offered me heavy ordinance: Rhyhorn, Aron, or Swinub.
Do you realize the experience curve on a Rhyhorn? It evolves at Level 42. Forty. Two. I did the math immediately. My pacing is ruined. I picked the Aron because Steel-typing is the only way to survive a region this chaotic. Then the Rival entity attacked. They deployed a Level 5 Hitmonlee. My Aron was Level 8. The level scaling is all over the place. It's not difficulty; it's a lack of calibration.
THE CATCHABILITY INDEX
I tried to run a scan for the National Dex availability. The data is corrupted. This is a "Beta 1.0" reality, which in Explorer terms means "Dead End." I found myself wandering routes where the encounter tables felt... wrong.

I found myself sweating, not because of the heat, but because I couldn't verify if the Legendaries were even scripted into the overworld events yet. If I can't catch them, why am I here?
QUALITY OF LIFE (OR LACK THEREOF)
I looked for the essentials. Is there a physical/special split? No. Is there a way to mass-release breedjects? No. Living Dex is possible without cheats? Unlikely. The biodiversity seems limited to whatever the architect swapped in at the last second. I spent hours grinding against wild encounters just to see if the loot tables had been updated. They haven't. It's raw, unrefined Ruby data with a fresh coat of paint that's already peeling.
VERDICT: ABORT MISSION
I cannot recommend this expedition to fellow Completionists. There is no satisfaction here, only the gnawing hunger of an empty Pokedex slot that can never be filled because the game code literally ends before the Elite Four. 100% completion took me 85 hours in Unbound, and every minute was bliss. Here? I spent 2 hours and felt like I lost a year of my life. Pack it up. We're moving to a region that's actually finished.
