MISSION LOG: DAY 01 - THE HYBRID FRONTIER
Location: Pallet Town (Dimensional Variance)
Pokedex Status: 0/226
Heart Rate: 120 BPM (Anticipation)
I have touched down in a Kanto that feels... wrong. And by wrong, I mean absolutely magnificent. The local fauna has undergone a massive genetic scramble. We aren't looking at Bulbasaur; we're looking at distinct biological amalgamations. My Pokedex counter maxes out at exactly 226 slots. Do you know what that means? It means this is a finishable hunt. No bloat. No national dex spanning four generations of filler. Just 226 targets. I can smell the 100% completion already.
THE SPECIMENS (REGIONAL VARIANTS)
The biodiversity here is fascinating. These aren't the clumsy, procedurally generated abominations reported in other sectors (looking at you, Infinite Fusion). These are handcrafted genetic chimeras. The lore suggests a dimensional fusion event changed the wildlife permanently. For a collector, this is paradise.
I encountered a fusion early on—designation unclear, but it had the ferocity of a Charizard mixed with the exoskeleton of a Scizor. The visual data is crisp. The best part? The local Pokedex technology has been upgraded to display Base Stats directly in the entry. I don't need to run external calculations to know if a specimen is viable for combat. It’s right there on the screen. Why hasn't Devon Corp adopted this tech?
LOGISTICS & FIELD EQUIPMENT (QoL)
My anxiety regarding "missable" content has been quelled. The local marts are stocked with advanced tech.
- TMs are Infinite: I don't have to hoard Thunderbolt like it's a precious metal. I can optimize my team's loadout constantly.
- HMs are Forgettable: Thank the Helix. I didn't have to waste a slot on a Cut-slave. The field moves are integrated seamlessly into the exploration gear.
- Evolutionary Stones: Access is unrestricted.
FIELD NOTE: I confirmed the existence of a crucial artifact. Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W. I evolved my trade-dependent specimens immediately. No needing a second operative to hold my hand.
THE HUNT: SHINY ODDS & COMPLETION
The atmosphere here is charged with shiny particles. My sensors indicate Increased Shiny Odds compared to the standard 1/8192 baseline. I haven't crunched the exact numbers, but I encountered a shimmering variant of a fusion on Route 3 without even trying to chain. For hunters, this region is a gold mine.
The most critical piece of intel: Living Dex is possible without cheats. Every single one of the 226 entries is obtainable within the region boundaries. No events, no time-gates, no nonsense. I tracked down the legendaries—they've been fused too, creating high-threat-level entities that actually pose a challenge.
MISSION DEBRIEF
This wasn't a long expedition, but it was incredibly satisfying. 100% completion took me 35 hours. That includes a full Living Dex and EV training my elite squad for the League. The difficulty is balanced—Gym Leaders utilize the Physical/Special split effectively, and the Fairy-type introduction disrupts old Kanto strategies.
If you have an itch to fill bars and see numbers go up without committing 200 hours to a grind, this dimension is your next drop zone. Over and out.
