Being built on a Ruby base (Protocol: AXV-22), it lacks some of the modern luxuries I crave. The Physical/Special split feels absent or inconsistent—I need to run more tests. The UI is nostalgic but clunky compared to the FireRed engines I've been touring lately. I spent hours looking for a quality of life NPC to toggle IV views, but found nothing but police checkpoints.
Usually, 100% completion took me 85 hours in a region of this size, but my expedition here was cut short. The "Episode 1" wall hit me like a truck. I have the badges, I have the team, but nowhere to go. I'm sitting here with a Level 34 Marshtomp and no Elite Four to challenge. The story hooks you—you are the criminal, the hunted—but for a Collector? It's a cliffhanger that hurts.
