LOG ENTRY: MOUNT SILVER SUMMIT // HOUR 85

My hands are shaking. Not from the cold—the thermal regulation in this region is standard—but from the sheer, unadulterated dopamine of the final badge. 16 Gyms. Two full regions. I have walked from the sprouts of Violet City to the magma of Cinnabar, and my Pokedex is screaming for mercy. This isn't just a travel destination; it's an endurance run.

THE BIOLOGICAL CENSUS

The local fauna is... chronologically confused. I spotted Hisuian forms mingling with standard Johto populations. It’s an ecological anarchy, and I am absolutely here for it. Seeing a Hisuian Typhlosion in a FireRed engine triggers a very specific itch in my brain. The addition of Fairy types and Galarian forms expands the collection grid significantly.

NOTE: The biological diversity here is dense. Living Dex is possible without cheats. I've confirmed sightings of roaming legendaries, which usually sends me into a panic attack, but the tracking tech here is sufficient.

RESOURCE ACQUISITION & QOL

Let's talk logistics. You know the pain of trade evolutions in a solo expedition. I checked the local vendors immediately. Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W. No more sobbing over a Gengar I can't have. The Goldenrod Department Store is practically a black market for evolution items. My wallet is empty, but my boxes are full.

However, the grind is real. The VS Seeker trainers are a blessing, but with the level curve spanning two regions and a trek up Mt. Silver, you need to be efficient. The inclusion of the Bug Catching Contest and Apricorn crafting adds layers to the daily routine that kept me locked in.

ANOMALIES & WARNINGS

The visual landscape is a faithful reconstruction of the Johto sector using the FireRed architecture. It feels stable, though the sheer volume of new species crammed into this engine occasionally causes minor visual hiccups—nothing that stops the hunt, just glitches in the matrix.

Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. The static encounters can be unforgiving if you twitch and hit 'Run' by mistake. I don't trust auto-saves here.

FINAL LOG

Is it the most polished simulation I've ever entered? No. But the density of content is staggering. 100% completion took me 85 hours. And I regret nothing. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a shiny roaming beast to track across Route 45.
