LOG ENTRY: KONOH REGION INITIALIZATION
Timestamp: 04:00 Hours (I haven't slept since the drop)
Location: Extineour Town, Konoh Sector
Current Dex Count: 1 (Starter acquired. Pulse rate elevated.)
I touched down in the Konoh region expecting a standard acquisition run, but my neurological scanners are picking up mixed signals. The mission briefing claimed this sector was "Completed," yet the local firmware identifies as Beta 1. Do you know what that does to a completionist? It induces panic. It means the possibility of a Living Dex is possible without cheats drops to near zero. If slot #302 is missing because the developer didn't finish the cave map, Iโm going to lose it.
THE LANDSCAPE: VISUAL ANOMALIES
The visual data in Konoh is distinct. The architecture doesn't match the standard Hoenn blueprints (Ruby Base). We have new sprites and a fresh coat of paint on the environment. Itโs vibrant, Iโll give it that. The rival entity, "Jemma," is aggressive, and the hostility from the local insurgent group, "Team Hektik," provides a decent threat level. However, the Ruby engine feels dated. The lack of the Physical/Special split in this version of the simulation makes optimizing movesets for the Elite Four a headache.
THE HUNT: CATCHABILITY REPORT
Iโve been scouring the tall grass for hours. The encounter tables are... erratic. Since this is a Beta build masquerading as a full release, the distribution of species is my primary concern. I found several Gen 3 staples, but the lack of documentation is a nightmare for efficiency.
FIELD WARNING: Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave near the mid-game checkpoint. In Beta environments, script tiles can be unstable. I walked into a wall and almost soft-locked my save file. Always keep backup saves.
POST-GAME & INTEGRITY
The intel suggests a full loop is possibleโGyms, Team Hektik takedown, and the League. But without a confirmed National Dex expansion or a dedicated Battle Frontier, the endorphin hit of a "100% Complete" screen feels distant. I need confirmation on the Legendary encounters. If I can't catch the box legendaries because the event flags aren't triggered, this expedition is a wash.
For now, this region is a curiosity, not a completionist's paradise. The "Omega Paradox V2" cross-promotion in the briefing suggests this might be a side-project or a prototype. Proceed with caution.
