MISSION LOG: REGION ETERNA NOCHE DE LUNA
Explorer: DexHunter Ace (LVL. 100)
Status: HYPERVENTILATING
Location: The Void (Post-Credits)
Pokedex Completion: ERROR - INSUFFICIENT DATA
THE EXPEDITION BRIEF
I packed for a marathon. I brought 900 Ultra Balls, three spare Link Cables, and a spreadsheet optimized for Gen 3 RNG manipulation. I was ready to grind until my thumbs bled. But this region? This region is an anomaly. A blip on the radar. The local guide (Creator: Cheve X) describes it as a "project with not much game time." They weren't kidding. I feel like I walked into a buffet and was handed a single grape.
THE NARRATIVE ANOMALY
The story here is... poetic. Disjointed. It involves the Moon, a "green little friend" (Celebi, obviously—Slot #251 detected), and a narrative about second chances. It feels less like a region and more like a fever dream. The visual landscape has been altered—new graphics are present, giving the environment a distinct, somewhat melancholic vibe. It's pretty, I'll give it that. But prettiness doesn't fill the National Dex.
FIELD NOTE: The translation matrix seems glitchy. The local dialect (dialogue) is rough, bordering on incoherent at times. "We all have a story to tell so that we can tell them if we can live them through dreams and fantasies?" My Pokedex can't translate philosophy, only species data!
THE CATCHABILITY INDEX (CRITICAL FAILURE)
Listen to me. I live for the grind. Usually, 100% completion took me 85 hours on a standard expedition. Here? I barely had time to organize my PC box before the credits rolled. This is a "Mini-Hack." For a completionist, this is torture. There is no sprawling post-game. There is no Battle Frontier. There is just the story.
I spent twenty minutes looking for tall grass just to feel something. The dopamine hit of a capture is almost non-existent because the scope is so limited. If you are looking for that "Living Dex is possible without cheats" satisfaction, turn back now. This is a narrative hallway, not a hunting ground.
THREAT LEVEL & ANOMALIES
The threat level is negligible. The main enemy is the confusion caused by the plot structure. It's linear. Extremely linear.
Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. Or any door, really. Since the game is barely an hour long, one wrong step or a glitch could force a restart, and while it's short, replaying dialogue you barely understood the first time is a test of patience I failed.
FINAL LOG ENTRY
I'm shaking. I need to catch a Zigzagoon just to calm down. Pokemon Eterna Noche de Luna is an experiment. It's a short story visualized through the GBA engine. It is not a game for Hunters. It is a game for... poets? I don't know any poets. I only know Trainers.
My Pokedex remains empty. My soul remains hungry. I'm moving to the next region immediately.
