CURRENT STATUS: Vibrating at a frequency that shouldn't exist.
Yo, fellow glitch hunters! It's your boy Glitch City Kid, fresh off a 400% speed run through a dimension that barely holds together. I just dived into Pokemon Distorted Realms, and let me tell you, the vibes are rancid in the best way possible. The intel said this was an "Alpha," but honestly? It feels like a fever dream coded by a sentient AI trying to understand human suffering.
THE "MAXED OUT" ANOMALY
Okay, so the main selling point of this region is that the "Three starters have been evolved maxed out." I read that in the briefing and thought, "Bet." I loaded in, and literally, you get handed nukes at the start of the game. Balance? Never heard of her. Scaling? That's for cowards who play Emerald Kaizo.
Walking into Route 1 with a fully evolved monster while the local wildlife is still figuring out how to tackle is a power trip I didn't know I needed. This game is absolutely unhinged ๐. Itโs like bringing a bazooka to a knife fight, except the knife is a Level 2 Pidgey and the bazooka is bugged.
VISUAL DISTORTIONS
The visual landscape of this region is... crunchy. We're talking "New sprites" that look like they were pulled from the collective unconscious of a 2008 ROM hacking forum. Some of the assets clash so hard my emulator started dropping frames just out of confusion.
NOTE: If you see a sprite that looks like static, do not catch it. It might be a feature, or it might delete your save file. I call that "Russian Roulette Mode."
I tried to check the Field Recon data from other explorers, but all I got was [object Object]. The distortion is real, fam. The silence from the community is deafening, which usually means everyone is too stunned to speak or the game is so obscure it doesn't exist on this plane of reality.
THE CRASH ZONE
Stability is a suggestion here. My emulator crashed twice. Loved it. There's nothing quite like the thrill of not knowing if walking through a door will load the next room or send you to the shadow realm. It keeps you on your toes! The text boxes sometimes feel like they're struggling to render English, giving me major Vietnam Crystal flashbacks. TRASHY STROLL is happening, indeed.
FINAL LOG
Is this a "good" game? No. Is it a polished experience? Absolutely not. Don't play this seriously. Just don't. Play it because you want to see what happens when the fabric of reality tears open in a FireRed base. It's a short, chaotic trip into the mind of a creator who decided waiting for evolution levels was a waste of time.
