LOG ENTRY: REGION CHARCOAL
TIMESTAMP: 0300 Hours. Location: Pallet Town Data Center.
OPERATIVE: DexHunter Ace (LVL. 100)
STATUS: Sleep Deprived. Caffeinated. Paranoid.
I dropped into the Charcoal sector expecting a standard FireRed simulation, but the visual landscape of this region is vibrant, unlike anything in the standard Kanto sector. The tilesets have been scrubbed and polished. It looks like Gen 4 architecture was smuggled across the border. But pretty graphics don't fill a Pokedex, and that's where the sweating starts.
THE HUNT (OR LACK THEREOF)
I went in blind. The intercepted comms were garbled (read: [object Object]), which is a nightmare for a strategist. I need spreadsheets. I need encounter rates. I need to know if Feebas is on six tiles or four!
Here is the situation on the ground:
- Visuals: The new sprites are crisp. It feels like a remaster, not a hack.
- Audio: New music tracks detected. Morale boosted by 15%.
- The Anxiety: I cannot confirm the location of Mythicals. If I can't catch Mew, why am I here?
CRITICAL INTEL: QOL FEATURES
I raided the Celadon Department Store expecting the usual disappointment, but I found tech that shouldn't exist in this timeline. Link Cable item is available in Department Store. Huge W. This means Gengar and Alakazam are on the menu, boys. No dual-slot GBA nonsense required.
However, the lack of a documentation file is triggering my neurological need for order. I spent three hours in Mt. Moon just to verify Clefairy spawn rates. Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave or engaging any static sprites, because without a respawn table, a critical hit could ruin a 100-hour run.
THE VERDICT
The region is stable (r8.2 implies significant iteration), but the silence from Headquarters regarding the National Dex is deafening. I need to know if a Living Dex is possible without cheats before I commit to the long haul. Until I see a 'Wild Deoxys' encounter code or a Hidden Grotto list, I'm keeping my save file backed up and my expectations managed.
FIELD NOTE: If you find the documentation for this region, forward it to the Archives immediately. My completion percentage is stuck at 34% and I am vibrating.
