LOG ENTRY: DAY 12 - THE 170 ANOMALIES
My eyes are burning. I haven't blinked in forty minutes. Why? Because the biodiversity in this sector—designated "Cathode"—is completely alien. We aren't dealing with Pidgeys and Rattatas here. 170 distinct biological signatures (Fakemon) identified. I had to recalibrate my entire scanning equipment to even register these sprites. They move, they have icons, they breathe.
THE HUNT: CATCHABILITY INDEX
I approached this region with extreme skepticism. Custom species often mean broken evolution lines or missing data slots. But here? Living Dex is possible without cheats. I repeated the process twice to be sure. The distribution is tight. Every bush shakes with something I haven't seen before, and that dopamine hit is potent. I didn't sleep until I verified the evolution method for the starter variants.
WARNING: Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave in the second region's northern sector. The static encounter there does NOT respawn if you faint it. I almost threw my device across the room.
REGIONAL LOGISTICS (QoL)
The local technology has been upgraded significantly over the standard Crystal-era tech. Running Shoes are functional—thank Arceus, because the backtracking would have killed me otherwise. Reusable TMs are present, which is critical for optimizing my Catching Smeargle. Also, the region uses the Metric system. Finally. My step-counting for egg cycles is accurate to the meter.
THE EXPANDED WORLD
The intel mentioned two new regions. They weren't lying. Just when I thought I had cleared the map, a whole new landmass opened up. It's not just empty space; there are Gyms, trainers, and distinct biomes. 100% completion took me 85 hours. The sheer volume of content packed into this GBC cartridge is illogical. It defies standard storage limitations.
ANOMALY REPORT
Visuals are crisp, fully animated icons for the new species. However, the "v0.3.2" designation on the mission file worries me. While I encountered no game-breaking crashes, there are minor graphical artifacts—glitch gremlins in the UI. Nothing that stops the hunt, but enough to make a veteran sweat. Save often.
