You can even access a fragment of the Hoenn region, though it feels like a simulation—a small, contained pocket dimension. It's disorienting. The rival entity has been replaced; Green is gone, swapped for a new hostile force. The narrative feels familiar yet wrong, like a fever dream of 2004.
Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave. The scripting in this region is unstable (Version Beta 0.1 markers are everywhere). I encountered several visual glitches that nearly corrupted my save data. Tread lightly.
THE VERDICT
Is the Pokedex completable? Yes. Is it safe? No. This region is for the obsessive, the grinders, the ones who see a Level 90 Dragonite and don't flinch. It lacks the polish of the Unbound sector, but the sheer volume of targets makes it a viable hunting ground for those who need to scratch the itch. Just bring Max Potions. Hundreds of them.
