LOG ENTRY: THE TRIPLE-REGION MARATHON
I haven't blinked in four days. Do you know why? Because this region—no, this collection of regions—doesn't stop giving me data. I stepped into the Tunod sector expecting a standard 8-badge run, and I ended up spiraling into a cross-continental odyssey that spanned Tunod, Johto, and the Rankor Archipelago. My Pokedex is screaming at me. It's beautiful.
This isn't just a ROM hack; it's an endurance test for the completionist soul. I tracked Pokemon Blazed Glazed (a fork of the Glazed anomaly) and confirmed it stabilizes the chaotic energy of the original. The level curve? Smoothed out. The move pools? Updated to Gen 6 standards. My completion percentage? Finally hitting that sweet, sweet 100%.
THE CATCHABILITY INDEX
Let’s get to the meat. You want to know if you can catch 'em all without hacking in a Gameshark code like a filthy casual. I am pleased to report that Living Dex is possible without cheats. The biodiversity here is staggering. We’re talking a mix of Gen 1 through 6, with five starters available early on (Shinx, Riolu, Turtwig, Chimchar, Piplup). I spent six hours just in the early routes because I refused to leave until I found a Ralts with the right nature.
FIELD NOTE: Keep an eye on the Stat Scanners. This world has fully integrated the Physical/Special split. If you're running a Sneasel with high Sp. Atk, you're doing it wrong.
POST-GAME & ANOMALIES
You think beating the Elite Four is the end? Cute. In Blazed Glazed, the Elite Four is just the tutorial. The post-game is massive. After Tunod, you get thrown into Johto (with a fresh plot, not just a Gym rush), and then Rankor. It's a Russian Nesting Doll of content. I found Legendaries hiding in pocket dimensions and on remote islands. There is a specific legendary event involving a certain Alpha Pokemon that requires precise navigation.
WARNING: Missable event warning! Save before entering the cave near the Ruins of Alph. If you knock out the target, it does not respawn. I nearly had a cardiac event when I crit-hit a Mew. Thank Arceus for save states.
QUALITY OF LIFE (QoL)
The local technology has been upgraded significantly since the original Glazed expedition. Movesets are modernized—Scizor actually learns Bullet Punch now, which is critical for my efficiency metrics. Trade evolutions have been patched out; you can evolve your Kadabra and Haunter via items or level-up methods found in-game. No need to disturb a second operative for a link trade.
However, it lacks some of the ultra-modern amenities of the newest hacks (like DexNav or infinite repel prompts), but the sheer volume of content makes up for it. 100% completion took me 85 hours. And I savored every single capture animation.
FINAL ANALYSIS
This is the definitive way to experience the Glazed timeline. It trims the fat, fixes the bugs, and buffs the roster. If you have an empty slot in your soul that can only be filled by catching 20 legendary Pokemon across three different maps, this is your mission.
